Profile
I am an associate professor at Chukyo University, specialised in International Development/ International Cooperation/ African Studies (PhD in Politics and International Studies from University of Warwick). My research interest focuses on global governance in the field of international cooperation and international development (with specific focus on Africa). Prior to my eight-years working experiences in the field of development aid (including Japanese Embassy in Uganda and Japanese Delegation to OECD), I obtained M.A. from University of Sussex, UK and B.A. from Osaka University of Foreign Studies, Japan. I teach courses on Global Governance, International Cooperation, International Development Policy (in English) and African Studies in International Development Programme, Chukyo University. I have received research fundings from Japanese Ministry of Education (MEXT), K.Matsushita Foundation, The Murata Science Foundation and Toyoaki Scholarship Foundation.
